BEFORE
After recently moving in to their new property, the customer began working their way through the items highlighted on the Home Buyers Report. Many items were mentioned on the roof covering and the advice given in the report was contact a Competent Roofing Contractor.
Following this advice, we received a call to carry out an assessment of the areas highlighted and provide our opinion based on evidence of what we would recommend. The roof was showing signs of its age as the tiles were beginning to shale (old clay Gaelic tiles), the cement from the ridge and verge was missing across the majority of the property and a leak was detected from the valleys.
Following the inspection there was only one outcome that was viable.
Any repairs on this roof would have been a false economy, as once those areas were fixed, other areas of the roof would begin to fail as the roof had reached the end of its natural life.
Therefore, we recommend that the customer replace the pitched roof covering. The roof structure was still in good condition; therefore, it was beneficial to replace the roof covering at this stage to limit any future damage to the structure which would result in further expenditure.
IN PROGRESS
END RESULT
Barring doing the work in July 2023 (the wettest July I can remember), the work was completed to the usual high standard we expect. Even though the rain was very persistent and heavy, not a single drop of water made it into the property due to years of experience and exceptional project management by the team.
The hard work and finished product of the team did not go unnoticed by the customer, and we received yet another 10/10 review of our service. As can be seen in the completion pictures, the customers’ review explains the level of service we provide for every single Estates Roofing Customer. After all, this is Roofing Redefined.
